Learning Participation Officer

I work for the Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust, where I deliver workshops to schools and groups.

Make it Create it

Founder of Make it Create it, providing after school workshops to primary schools.

Community Arts

I run craft sessions for local community groups. I provide all the equipment needed and can deliver sessions including crochet, felting, printing and willow work.

Arts Award Discover and Explore Advisor, supported and funded by Trinity College London

As an Arts Advisor, I am able to deliver the Arts Award programme to young people in a variety of settings. I have run this as part of an extra-curricular club which has seen many of the pupils go on to achieving their Arts Award which is an Entry Level 3 Qualification on the Regulated Qualifications Framework.

Derbyshire Ready Enterprise facilitator

Ready Unlimited worked alongside Derbyshire LEA to create the Derbyshire Ready Enterprise curriculum, in which pupils are encouraged to adopt 13 key skills that are seen to equip young people of today with the skills needed in the workplace of tomorrow. Amongst these skills are leadership, teamwork, initiative and effective communication. As an enterprise leader, I look for opportunities where pupils can take the lead, such as organising tea parties, pop-up museums, and writing their own scripts for assemblies and plays. I also led the children in being part of the 'The Fiver Challenge', run by Young Enterprise, in which pupils have 1 month to set up a mini business with start-up funds of £5 to create a product or service they can sell or deliver at a profit and engage with their local community.

Level 3 Forest Schools Leader

I have qualified as a Forest School leader with the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.  I specialise in incorporated the outdoors in the teaching of the core subjects, especially in literacy and numeracy.

I have worked alongside the East Midlands Artsmark Hub, The Mighty Creatives, to create a statement of commitment to the arts.
